Niagara Clifton Group is hiring a House Person for our Accommodations Housekeeping Department. Working at the only accommodations located directly on Clifton Hill – Travelodge At the Falls – our Accommodations team plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. We take pride in maintaining award-winning rooms, clean and safe facilities, and outstanding customer service throughout every guest’s stay.
Job Summary:
As a House Person, you will support daily housekeeping operations by ensuring all guest rooms, common areas, and exterior spaces meet high cleanliness and presentation standards. You will also assist guests and team members while maintaining a professional, trustworthy, and service-focused environment.
Shifts: Days, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays
Job Type: Seasonal; Part-time
Compensation: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities:
· Respond promptly, courteously, and professionally to guest and customer inquiries, requests, and concerns
· Strip guest rooms by removing soiled linens and towels and preparing rooms for housekeeping service
· Maintain cleanliness and appearance of hotel grounds and common areas, including sweeping walkways, cleaning windows, flower boxes, and railings
· Maintain parking lots and exterior areas during summer and winter conditions
· Transport soiled laundry to the designated laundry area in a safe and organized manner
· Replenish housekeeping closets and supply areas with linens, amenities, and cleaning products as required
· Receive deliveries and restock supplies in the stockroom
· Respond to calls and service requests from the accommodations department in a timely manner
· Identify and immediately report maintenance, safety, or security concerns to management
· Maintain a high level of professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times, especially when entering guest rooms and guest areas
· Respect guest privacy and handle guest belongings with care at all times
· Follow all company policies, health and safety procedures, and applicable legislation
· Assist with overall hotel operations and perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
· Completion of Grade 10 education or equivalent is required
· Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with guests, coworkers, and management
· Previous experience in housekeeping, porting, or a related hospitality role is considered an asset
Physical Abilities / Working Conditions:
· Physically able to perform the essential duties of the role, including light to medium lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, prolonged standing and walking, and frequent stair climbing in a multi-level facility with no elevators
· Ability to safely lift and move items such as linens, supplies, and equipment
· Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including summer and winter months
· Ability to use housekeeping tools, cleaning equipment, and carts safely and effectively
· Capable of performing repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
