Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations with effective time management skills to maximize guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bar setup and dining space
- Assist in opening or closing responsibilities as needed, including inventory checks and restocking supplies
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly is desirable but not required; training can be provided
