Overcooked Media is a full-stack marketing agency based in Toronto. We work with a diverse portfolio of clients across consumer goods, food and beverage, and lifestyle brands. Our team is small, fast-moving, and design-forward — we take brand consistency seriously and hold every deliverable to a high standard.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled Freelance Packaging Designer to join our contractor roster on a project basis. You will work across multiple client accounts, producing packaging design that is brand-aligned, print-ready, and production-accurate.
This is not a one-off gig. We are building an ongoing relationship with a reliable designer who can handle multiple client aesthetics and turnaround requests as they come through our production queue.
What You Will Work On
- Retail and e-commerce packaging (boxes, pouches, labels, inserts, sleeves)
- Brand-consistent design across multiple client accounts
- Print-ready file preparation (dielines, bleed, CMYK, press specs)
- Revisions and version control based on internal creative direction
- Coordination with our Creative Director and production team via ClickUp
What We Are Looking For
- 3 or more years of packaging design experience
- Strong portfolio showing retail or consumer goods packaging
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (InDesign is a plus)
- Experience preparing dielines and press-ready files
- Ability to work across multiple brand aesthetics without losing precision
- Clear communicator — you update progress, flag blockers early, and meet deadlines
