Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Server Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences through efficient food service, and sanitation practices. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food service or restaurant operations is preferred, along with familiarity with food safety standards and POS systems such as TOAST POS. The Food Server Worker plays a vital role in ensuring our guests receive quality service and delicious meals in a clean and welcoming setting.
Responsibilities
- Serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely food delivery during busy periods
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with basic food preparation tasks
- Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed in all areas of food service and kitchen operations
Skills
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, including serving and food preparation roles
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting in hospitality or food service environments
- Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and sales performance
