Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational performance. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems and recommend solutions
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize downtime
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining industrial or automotive equipment
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact drivers is preferred
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
