Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete worker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with various concrete-related tasks, including formwork, finishing, and installation, contributing to high-quality building projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and familiarity with construction tools and techniques. The Concrete worker will work under the supervision of experienced crew members to ensure safety and efficiency on-site.
Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to meet project specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Install rebar and reinforcement materials according to schematics and blueprints
- Perform masonry tasks including caulking, restoration, and cutting
- Conduct concrete finishing work such as smoothing, leveling, and sealing surfaces
- Support carpentry activities related to formwork and structural components
- Handle heavy lifting safely to move materials and equipment around the job site
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment operation
- Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, and masonry techniques
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools safely
- Skilled in concrete finishing techniques for smooth surface quality
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and renovation processes
- Competence in welding, caulking, flooring installation, and restoration work is a plus
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual labor
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment within a fast-paced construction setting
Pay: $22.00-$40.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
