We are currently recruiting for the role of Financial Analyst (Contract) to join our dynamic and energetic team. This position reports to the FP&A Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Assist in annual budget preparation
- Assist in quarterly reforecasting exercise
- Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly business review presentation (plus quarterly and annually)
- Assist in developing scorecard reporting
- Decision Support
- Assist in analyzing financial data and create financial models
- Assist in analyzing trends and recommend actions for optimization
- Prepare scenario modeling and create tools for business purposes
- Collect and analyze the impact of economic, forex and competitor data
- Business Intelligence
- Work with department managers and operators to develop and track KPIs
- Assist in developing dashboards, reports and similar tools
- Become data mining expert in NetSuite
- Reporting
- Issue daily / weekly / monthly reports for multiple stakeholders
- Update / download data from the ERP for reporting
- Accounting
- Assist in Financial Statement preparation
- Assist in month end tasks and account reconciliation
- Support the Finance team during year end and interim audits, and inventory counts
- Supply Chain
- Assist in monthly inventory demand planning
- Prepare weekly updates on logistics and product trends
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in Business or related field
- Minimum 5 years of business experience, preferably in FP&A
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is an asset
- Previous experience in NetSuite is a strong asset
- Previous experience in the retail, flooring, import or distribution industry is an asset
- Able to analyze and communicate data into business use
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
- Attention to detail and staying organized at all times
- Effective time management and workload efficiency skills
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
