Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and framing structures, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires proficiency in using power tools and performing heavy lifting, as well as a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. The Framer will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring that all framing work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Duties
- Construct and assemble wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and install building materials.
- Restore or repair existing structures as required by project specifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of work completed to ensure quality standards are met.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in framing or carpentry is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 80 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Proficiency in using various power tools such as saws, drills, and nail guns.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation of schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
