Irwin’s Safety Training provides a broad range of safety training courses across British Columbia and Alberta to a variety of customers, both in industry and within communities. Irwin’s instructors have flexible schedule and the opportunities to travel to a variety of locations.
Irwin’s Safety is currently looking for casual, qualified Safety Training Instructors to join our team.
Qualifications
- Must possess a VALID Instructor certificate for any of the following industrial safety courses: Confined Space, Fall Protection, Light Equipment Operations, First Aid, Electrical Safety, and any other industrial safety related courses.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience instructing
- Must be physically able to move and set up the necessary equipment
- Experience teaching or working in an industrial environment is preferred
- Must be able to travel throughout the province
- Must possess driver's license and own transportation
Responsibilities
- Prepare required material / lesson plan prior to course delivery
- Using a variety of adult learning techniques, deliver course material and exam
- Mentor students as needed
- Adhere to all Irwin’s Training Management System
- Complete and return course paperwork in a timely manner
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $35.00-$75.00 per hour
