As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Clerk to join our team and contribute to our financial operations.
The Accounting & Payroll Clerk will play a key role in managing our day-to-day accounting and payroll functions. You will be responsible for processing employee payroll, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the accounting team with various tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in accounting who enjoys working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Accurately prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payments, and collections.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, monthly reports, and other financial documents.
- Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, as well as legal requirements.
- Support: Assist with various accounting projects and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated interest in payroll and accounting field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting and payroll, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage), MS Excel, and other MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute positively to the workplace culture.
- Familiarity with federal and provincial payroll regulations and employment standards.
