As a Tattoo Artist, you will work closely with clients to bring their visions to life while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety. Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas, preferences, and expectations
- Design custom tattoo artwork tailored to each client’s vision
- Prepare skin and ensure proper sanitation before beginning the tattoo process
- Operate tattoo equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all health regulations
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment at all times
- Educate clients on aftercare procedures to ensure proper healing of tattoos
- Manage appointment scheduling and walk-in clients with professionalism
- Upsell related products such as aftercare creams or body jewelry when appropriate
- Provide exceptional guest services, ensuring a positive studio experience for every client
- Assist with studio operations at the front desk as needed, including product demos and retail sales
Experience
- Prior experience as a Tattoo Artist or in a similar body art role is preferred
- Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse tattoo styles and techniques
- Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a tattoo studio environment
- Experience with retail sales, upselling, and product demonstrations is advantageous
- Background in customer service, hospitality, or related fields enhances guest interactions
- Additional skills such as body waxing, hair styling, eyelash extensions, makeup application, or nail care are considered a plus but are not required
