Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and the Director of Talent, the Human Resources Advisor plays a vital role in supporting a diverse range of Human Resource functions. This specialized position involves managing employee relations, interpreting, and administering policies, facilitating workplace practices, and providing guidance on various HR matters.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and a proactive approach to workplace dynamics.
- Policy Administration: Interpret and administer HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.
- Performance Management: Collaborate with managers to implement performance management processes and contribute to the development of performance improvement plans.
- Discipline: Handle disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies, ensuring fair and consistent application. Provide guidance on termination procedures when necessary.
- Employment Law: Stay informed on employment laws and regulations, while working alongside the legal team to advise management on compliance and potential impact on HR practices.
- Employment Contracts: Assist in the creation and review of employment contracts ensuring alignment with legal requirements and company standards.
- Succession and Workforce Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of succession and workforce planning initiatives to support talent development and retention.
- Salary and Compensation: Collaborate with senior managers to maintain salary and compensation processes.
- Other duties as required.

Required Skills

- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Required Experience
- 3-5 years’ prior experience in a similar role, demonstrating Human Resources practices.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs
- University degree with a focus on Human Resources or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience
