Position Summary – Barista/Cashier (Part Time and Seasonal)As a Barista/Cashier at Kibo Cafe, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable customer experiences—not only through crafting great beverages but also by supporting a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This role combines café service with light retail duties, perfect for someone who enjoys working with others and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
● Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including espresso-based drinks and teas
● Provide friendly, attentive service and help create a welcoming space for customers and teammates
● Operate the POS system accurately for both café and market transactions
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and market areas
● Support retail operations by assisting with inventory tracking, shelf stocking, and product displays
● Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and shift transitions
● Transferring inventory, ingredients, and necessary supplies between Kibo Cafe locations as required to support daily operations.
● Follow proper POS-handling procedures and opening/closing checklists
Qualifications
● Previous experience as a barista, cashier, or in retail/hospitality is an asset
● A strong team player who communicates well and supports coworkers
● Friendly and proactive with a customer-first attitude
● Organized and able to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
● Willingness to pitch in and help wherever needed - no task is too small

Schedule: Shifts may be scheduled between the morning (7am) and evening (9pm). Weekend availability is required.
