Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Licensed Physiotherapist to join our growing clinical team. Key Responsibilities:
The typical responsibilities of the physiotherapist include but are not limited to:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Deliver physiotherapy services including manual therapy, modalities, and exercise programs
- Prepare clear and timely treatment records (i.e., initial, progress, and discharge)
- Ensure documentation meets College of Physiotherapists of Ontario standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care
- Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventative strategies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment
- Follow clinic processes, procedures, and contribute to operational efficiency
Requirements and Qualifications:
- MScPT, BScPT, or CPA-approved equivalent
- Registered and remain in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Experience in clinical assessments and treatment and able to balance a heavy patient caseload
- Clinicians are to maintain their own required insurance, dues, association fees, etc. to remain in good standing with their college
- Experience managing diverse caseloads and working with third-party payers (e.g., MVA)
- Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
- Maintaining up to date patient charts and documentation
- Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
- Effective problem-solving and sound clinical judgement
- Collaborative, personable, and patient-centered
Pay:
Rate of pay is negotiable and will be based on experience and qualifications.
