POSITION SUMMARY
We're looking for an experienced Marine Technician
We are currently seeking an experienced Marine Technician to join our in-house mechanical team. Our mechanical team is comprised of experienced marine repair technicians who specialize in installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the mechanical and electrical systems of watercraft, such as boats, yachts, and personal watercraft.
The ideal individual for this position will come equipped with the following experience, knowledge, skills and abilities to:
- Previous experience as a Marine Technician, Small Engine Technician, or related trade.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong diagnostic skills.
- Experience working with computerized diagnostic equipment is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Manufacturer certifications are considered an asset but not required.
Brief Summary of the Positions' Primary Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain powersports equipment, including ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, fuel, and hydraulic systems.
- Install accessories and aftermarket components.
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations with service advisors and customers.
Required Experience, Education and Qualifications
- Required: Minimum of 3 years of Marine Technician, Small Engine Technician experience.
- Required: A Valid Class 5F driver's license.
- Required: Clear Criminal Record Check.
- Required: Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Preferred: Education or formal training in small engine mechanics.
