Position Summary; preparing meals for tenants/residents in a timely fashion following specific guidelines for individual residents, temperature recording, shift coverage, receiving stock, general cleaning duties, adhering to job description, following Ministry of Health and Public Health Guidelines.
Essential Duties and responsibilities; serving full menu meals, including texture modifications and following therapeutic diets as per the Registered Dietitian. Able to lift 25kg
Environmental Factors; hot ovens, cold refrigeration, steam tables, dishwasher.
Qualifications required; food handler’s certification, Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, Food Service Worker graduate or equivalent education, excellent attendance record. Experience with texture modifications, as outlined by the Dietitians of Canada.
