Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and dependable MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality MRI examinations, ensure patient comfort and safety, and support accurate diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans according to physician orders, following established protocols and safety guidelines
- Prepare and educate patients before the scan, addressing questions and reducing anxiety
- Position patients accurately to achieve optimal image quality
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnoses
- Accurately document procedures, patient information, and imaging details
- Follow all safety procedures, including MRI safety screening and infection control policies
- Stay current with advancements in MRI technology and clinical best practices
Skills
- Strong understanding of MRI principles, anatomy, and imaging protocols
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and troubleshooting basic technical issues
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and professional
