Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Design Draftsman/woman to join our team. This role involves creating precise technical drawings and schematics for various construction and engineering projects. Duties
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and SolidWorks.
- Create schematics and technical diagrams aligned with project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and safety regulations.
- Assist in the development of construction documents, plans, and layouts for various projects.
- Utilize 2D animation skills to visualize concepts when necessary for presentations or project planning.
- Maintain organized digital files of all drawings and schematics for easy access and updates.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and best practices in construction and engineering.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit,
- MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong drafting skills with an understanding of schematics and technical drawing standards.
- Knowledge of construction processes and experience working on architectural or engineering projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with 2D animation techniques for visualization purposes is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Prior experience in civil engineering or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
