Role Overview
Everclear Aquatics Ltd. is seeking a high-growth-minded Operations Manager / Project Lead to join our leadership team. As we expand our footprint in the niche municipal, hospitality, and residential aquatic markets, we require a dedicated leader to own all operational activities and drive the company toward its customer demands being met.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project operations and execution, assist in managing project budgets, and ensuring the seamless execution of on-site activities. You will play a pivotal role in scaling our operations, optimizing logistics, and building a high-performing technical team.
Exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded individual to grow and excel with a growing company in North America. Travel is a must, as projects are often in locations throughout Western Canada. Consequently, the ability to lead projects is a key focus of this role, in addition to building key infrastructure locally to assist in growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Project & Crew Management: Oversee project costing, crew scheduling, and day-to-day management of field technicians to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Safety & Compliance: Lead health and safety oversight for all crews, ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and internal safety protocols.
- Operational Excellence: Implement and enhance operational processes, including customer billing, job scoping, and the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Financial Oversight: Collaborate closely with executive leadership to manage project budgets, monitor profitability, and refine margin management strategies.
- Training & Development: Lead the training and upskilling of the workforce, fostering a culture of mentorship and professional growth.
- Logistics & Dispatching: Refine logistical routes and enforce strict accommodation guidelines to eliminate overhead overages on away-from-home projects.
- Assisting with quotes and project requirements: Supporting customer quotations with our sales lead, and ensuring project management tools are being utilized to manage project profitability
Qualifications & Skills
- Construction Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on construction experience, with proficiency in tiling, basic plumbing, lino installation, framing, and the use of professional hand tools.
- Proven Leadership: 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role, with a demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams and complex workflows.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (specifically Sheets and Docs) for project tracking and reporting.
- Growth Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a drive to scale operations in a competitive, niche market.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to manage customer relations and collaborate with senior management.

- Pool operations experience
- Pool construction experience
- Pool inspection experience
- Certifications as assets - Pool operator 1 and or 2 considered an asset
Expect to:
This individual must be prepared to travel and lead jobs that are throughout western Canada. From short inspection jobs, to 8 week construction projects and everything in between. This working lead is a crucial piece of the company's next steps!
When not in the field leading jobs, the individual will work remotely or in office alongside the executive team to assist in operational management and sales components of the business.
