CGI is seeking an ETL Developer to join our team and support the development and maintenance of enterprise data integration solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines while ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability in support of critical business initiatives.
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office and/or the client office a minimum of three days per week, subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise ETL data pipelines using DataStage, Python, SQL/HQL, and UNIX.
- Perform data analysis and design source-to-target mappings and transformation logic.
- Support the onboarding of new data sources and enhance existing data feeds.
- Develop and maintain batch processing frameworks and workflows.
- Implement data cleansing, validation, and standardization logic.
- Perform unit testing, defect resolution, and code optimization.
- Support production deployments, implementation activities, and software currency updates.
- Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 6+ years of ETL development experience.
- Strong experience with DataStage, Python, SQL/HQL, and UNIX.
- Experience with data analysis, transformation design, and ETL development.
- Experience implementing source-to-target mappings and data transformation logic.
- Experience working on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) initiatives.
- Strong troubleshooting, testing, and defect resolution skills.
- Experience supporting production deployments and maintaining enterprise data pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000-$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
