Successful candidates will be required to:
- provide physically demanding labouring work in all areas of the mill, providing vacation and training relief
- work a shift rotation (days and nights)
- duties and job requirements will include but are not restricted to:
- operating mobile equipment for extended periods
- being on your feet for extended periods
- working in hot and noisy conditions
- having good visual perception
- being computer literate
To qualify you must:
- have completed 2 years post-secondary/high school education
- have at least 2-3 years of industrial work experience
- possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
- have an ability to learn and possess basic computer skills
- demonstrates a history of safe work performance
Please note, preference will be given to those with heavy industry work experience.
All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority. The hourly wage would be as per the collective agreement and ranges between $30 to $32 per hour along with some of the best benefits such as medical, vacation among others.
