Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate transportation and logistics operations within our supply chain. The ideal candidate create routes for drivers, communicate effectively with drivers and clients, and utilize various transportation management systems to ensure timely delivery and efficient operations. This role is essential in maintaining smooth logistics workflows, optimizing freight scheduling, and supporting overall supply chain performance.
- Dispatching: Assign drivers or technicians to tasks and routes.
- Communications: Interact with drivers, customers, and stakeholders.
- Scheduling: Create and manage driver schedules efficiently.
- Routing: Plan and optimize delivery or service routes.
- Monitoring: Track vehicle or personnel progress and address deviations.
- Problem-solving: Resolve issues like breakdowns or delays.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities.
- Coordination: Collaborate with other departments for smooth workflow.
Up to 1-year experience in the related field is required.
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
