Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Night Cleaner to join our team at a local gym. This role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment during nighttime hours, ensuring the facility is ready for the next day. The position offers a flexible schedule of four nights per week and includes a monthly bonus for consistent performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of gym facilities, including locker rooms, workout areas, restrooms, and common spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as restocking supplies and reporting any repairs needed
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, mirrors, and surfaces throughout the facility
- Follow safety protocols and proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ensure the gym is presentable and ready for opening hours each morning by completing cleaning tasks efficiently during scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
