We are in search of a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for our Corporate Home Office team. In this role you will be reporting to the Director, Human Resources.
The HRBP is responsible for providing day-to-day guidance and support to front-line Employees and Managers on human resources and labour relations matters, in accordance with all legislated and Omni standards, policies, and procedures. The position will have a positive impact on the department’s objectives.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee/Labour Relations: Serve as a liaison and provide guidance to Managers and front-line Employees on day-to-day matters
Recruitment: Lead the full cycle recruitment process to ensure that the organization has the right talent
Employee Engagement: Continually promote a positive organizational culture to foster workplace satisfaction, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and overall employee experience
Workplace Investigations: Partner with the Director, Human Resources to conduct investigations in a fair and supportive manner
Learning and Development: Educate and coach Managers on effective performance management techniques through learning, accountability, and continuous improvement
HR Strategies: Collaborate the Director, Human Resources to align department goals with business objectives
Occupational Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and company policies, to create safe and healthy return to work strategies
THE NEEDS
Education
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- HRIS certification or project management certification (PMP) considered an asset
Experience
- 3-5 years of HRIS implementation or HR technology project experience
- Progressive experience in human resource management
- Demonstrated experience implementing or leading an HRIS rollout
- Experience in unionized environments strongly preferred
- Experience supporting multi-site operations considered an asset
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., UKG, Dayforce, ADP, Ceridian, BambooHR, or Workday)
- Strong data analytics and Excel skills
- Familiarity with payroll/timekeeping integrations
- Stakeholder engagement and vendor management experience
