Founded in 1922, Burlington is a year-round private club that offers golf, curling, dining and social amenities. Our Clubhouse is a spectacular venue for casual and fine dining, banquets, weddings and various social events and functions.
Position Summary
The Locker Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the clubhouse are kept clean. They will attend to the locker room needs of club members and guests in a professional, service oriented and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for laundering towels and linens and clothing including running the equipment, ironing and folding laundry
- Maintain all areas of the clubhouse for cleanliness, vacuum, mop, dust, change garbages etc
- Clean washrooms, sinks, toilets and all surfaces, restock products, ensuring sanitation standards are followed
- Monitor locker room environment for the purpose of security of showers and locker areas
- Fill member requests in a timely and efficient manner. Provide courteous and professional service to members
- Operate the shoe shine area, clean and polish shoes
- Clean mirrors, door handles, frames according to the schedule
- Dust & polish furniture
- Set up rooms for functions; move tables and chairs as required
- Occasional snow shoveling or pressure washing
Skills & Experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Previous experience in a labour/physical position is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- A customer oriented personality
Pay: $18.48 per hour
