Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping environment while supporting the store’s sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Sort and price Inventory bases on store standards.
- Engage in upselling and suggest complementary products to increase sales
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the store is clean and inviting
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Manage time effectively to ensure all duties are completed efficiently during shifts
- Use phone etiquette skills to assist customers over the phone when needed
- Support inventory management through merchandising, stock replenishment, and product placement
- Assist with basic math calculations for transactions and inventory counts
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
- Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technical sales is preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, especially in English and other languages relevant to our customer base
- Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in product displays and inventory management
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately under pressure
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Customer service-oriented mindset with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to demonstrate products effectively and engage customers in product demos
- Prior experience in upselling and sales techniques is advantageous
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed, including weekends or evenings if required
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
