About Working on a “Floatel”
LandSea will be providing workforce catering and accommodation services for guests onboard the MV Isabelle, a 650-passenger “Floatel”.
At work, the crew is provided with accommodation, full meals, and WIFI, and can access health/gym facilities when off work. We provide partial uniforms and help with the travel/reservations as needed to and from locations. Excellent Health and Wellness benefits are being offered.
About the Opportunity
This is a temporary position for a service contract that will end on January 30th, 2027. We currently have ONE opening for Baker.
This Baker is responsible for producing both scratch and prefabricated baked goods, desserts and pastries. Working under the guidance of the Chef, you will be expected to produce both high quality and high quantity products within the Bakery Department. This position requires the ability to follow directions, be diligent, focused and consistent. Comfort with kitchen and pastry equipment is required.
Applicants must have minimum 2 years’ experience in a hotel or cruise ship and must have the ability to work long shifts, weekends, holidays in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Available to work multiple rotations. Must have good verbal and written communication skills (read, write, and speak English). Meticulous attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills. Strong work ethic with an ability to work independently, and as a team player who supports, motivates, and encourages others.
