Duties:
- Installation of residential and commercial propane tanks. Install and assemble new equipment according to specifications
- Transferring of propane tank to tank, pressure testing, ensuring all process completed is as per code and standards
- Responding to client and staff calls 24/7 and being well versed on issues to provide correct instructions and advice. Attend any leaks, spills or accidents and incidents.
- Scheduling repairs and maintenane for the units in the region.
- Ensure inventory of parts and materials is tracked and maintenained in accordance with requirements of the fleet and company.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Must have G1 or G2 Gas License - Not Negotiable -- Absolute requirement for the role
- Liquid propane experience preferred.
- Drivers license and clean abstract
- Proven experience as a technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
