Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. Utilizing a variety of mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with automotive repair, and maintenance procedures. We are a busy shop that is family owned and operated. We offer competitive salary, and benifits. A good knowledge of electrical systems, a/c systems and Diesel experiance would be an asset.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments using hand tools, power tools, and schematics to identify vehicle and equipment issues.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on automotive gas and diesel vehicles.
- Utilize welding skills for fabrication or repair tasks when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure work environment.
- Assist in the assembly or disassembly of mechanical components using appropriate tools.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex systems including electrical and mechanical components.
Experience
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and assembly processes.
- Prior dealership experience or working in an automotive service environment is advantageous.
- Strong troubleshooting skills combined with excellent customer service capabilities.
This role requires a motivated individual with a strong mechanical background who is committed to quality work and safety standards in automotive repair.
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
