Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration, as well as the ability to work effectively in a hospital or pharmacy setting.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries and ensuring patients understand their medications.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient profiles.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless medication management for patients.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with staff and patients.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols within the pharmacy environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$24.03 per hour
