Buzz is hiring SIR-certified Brand Ambassadors for various events, festivals and golf tournaments in Kelowna in July. This is a paid contractor role at $24-$29/hour depending on event, with paid travel for shifts outside Kelowna. We have shifts available throughout July and are actively building our roster for the coming months.
We're looking for outgoing, professional female brand ambassadors with prior promo, hospitality, or sales experience who can confidently represent our clients brands to customers at various events.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging promotions including sampling product to of-age event goers
- Represent client brands professionally, communicating product features, tasting notes, and key selling points
- Arrive on time, in appropriate attire, and ready to represent the brand
Required Qualifications
- Current SIR (Serving It Right) certification — applications without SIR will not receive a response
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- 19 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation to locations in Kelowna
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable standing for the duration of a shift
Preferred
- Prior experience in liquor sampling, brand ambassador work, hospitality, or retail sales
- Knowledge of wine, beer, or spirits
- Immediate start (first event is July 11th)
- Confidence engaging strangers in a retail environment
