About the Role:
We're seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our construction team as a Site Labourer / Lead Hand. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while working with an established local company. You will require a driver license with a clean record and at least 2 years of personal insurance coverage.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Weekend and overtime work may be required
- All work starts from our shop office – reliable transportation required
What You'll Do:
- Remove construction debris and maintain clean, safe work sites
- Sweep, scrape, and vacuum construction sites between building stages
- Organize and move building materials
- Assist crew members with various site projects
- Operate pressure washers for cleaning garages, driveways, and siding
- Help with seasonal tasks including snow removal and grounds maintenance
- Load and unload trailers, assist with dump runs
- Install Window Wells and Rock
What We're Looking For:
Required:
- Valid Alberta Driver's License (clean abstract)
- Physically fit – able to lift 40 lbs overhead
- Good command of English language
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow supervisor instructions
- WHMIS certification
Preferred:
- General knowledge of house construction
- First Aid certification (asset but not required)
- No previous experience necessary – we'll train the right person!
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Active construction sites with moving vehicles and equipment
- Physical work including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting throughout the day

Compensation & Benefits:
