Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked
Qualifications:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as an electrician in a commercial or agriculture setting
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment effectively
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Skills:
- Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair
- Building electrical systems in commercial or agriculture settings
- Agriculture electrician experience preferred
- Maintenance Person skills for general maintenance tasks
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Proficiency with hand tools for electrical work
- Familiarity with power tools for efficient installations or repairs
