Front of House Manager
Hunter & Co. | London, ON
Bring your leadership, passion, and operational expertise to one of London’s most exciting dining spots! At Hunter & Co., we deliver a memorable experience through warm hospitality, exceptional service, and incredible food and drink.
We are seeking a Front of House Manager who balances sharp administrative oversight with dynamic, hands-on floor leadership. If you are highly organized, deeply service-minded, and ready to roll up your sleeves alongside our team, we want to hear from you. Immediate availability to start is highly preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Floor Leadership: Lead, train, and inspire the FOH team; maintain an uncompromising standard of hospitality across both the dining room and bar during high-volume shifts.
- Group Reservations & Events: Masterfully organize, coordinate, and execute large party bookings and group reservations to maximize seating efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Inventory & Beverage Management: Maintain tight inventory control of all bar stock, curate beverage offerings, and oversee precise ordering, tracking, and local pickup of liquor/LCBO supplies.
- Culture & Communication: Foster a positive, team-focused workplace; collaborate seamlessly with the Back of House (BOH) team to ensure flawless execution.
- Administrative Ownership: Take full initiative over scheduling and FOH operations, providing structured, proactive updates directly to ownership.
What We’re Looking For
- Availability: Immediate availability to transition into the role and begin training.
- Service-Minded Ethos: An absolute commitment to guest satisfaction; a "service-first" attitude is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
- Experience: 3+ years of FOH management experience in a high-end, premium casual, or fine-dining environment.
- Bartending Core: Solid, hands-on bartending experience and comfort behind the wood. You should be ready to step in and support the bar during peak hours.
- Logistical Polish: Exceptionally well-organized, analytical, and resourceful under pressure.
- Growth Mindset: A strong willingness to learn our systems, elevate your craft, and continuously improve service operations.
Nice to Have (But We Are Willing to Train!)
- Advanced Mixology: Elevated mixology experience and deep cocktail/beverage program knowledge. (Note: Candidates with strong experience may be asked to participate in a practical bartending/mixology demonstration during the interview process).
- Tech-Savvy: Existing familiarity with Toast POS, OpenTable, and MarketMan (or similar inventory platforms)
- Mobility: A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle (highly convenient for off-site liquor/supply procurement and inventory pickups).
Why You’ll Love Working With Us:
