The ideal candidate will plan and manage our companies recruitment & social media initiatives, create and post job ads on designated job board and social media platforms (with a special focus on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram ), identify the most promising leads, reach out to prospective candidates, and assess applicants who enter our hiring funnel. In-depth knowledge of recruitment strategies, SEO strategies, and the latest trends in sourcing candidates via social media is required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment and Social Media:
- Manage all recruitment needs across three companies across eastern Canada.
- Plan and execute effective social media recruitment strategies that will help us attract and hire top-notch candidates.
- Research SEO keywords to optimize for maximum search visibility and results
- Set measurable goals that will demonstrate improvement in recruitment efforts
- Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance on postings
- Coordinate our social media recruitment campaigns under the supervision of our management team.
- Establish sourcing methods and source candidates from platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, and Tik Tok.
- Create and post detailed and transparent job ads that accurately reflect the requirements and responsibilities of the position.
- Develop and maintain regular reports (ex. web traffic, user engagement, ROI, estimate hiring costs, time-to-hire, quality of potential hires, and candidate retention rates reports).
- Complete full recruitment cycle
- Work with recruitment agencies when required.
- Develop job descriptions and specifications.
- Collaborate with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
- Screen resumes, assess applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Promote the company's reputation, benefits, and attractiveness as an employer of choice.
- Perform phone interviews with candidates.
- Coordinate and follow up on interviews with the hiring managers.
- Perform reference and background checks.
- Create new hire packages and enroll new hires into legislated training programs.
- Manage vendor relationships with recruitment-related software and sites (Indeed, Linkedin, etc).
- Update internal communication platforms (SharePoint, teams, etc.) to improve employee experience and access to necessary news and information
- Ensure new hire documents are completed in full and received.
- Support the Human Resources Department with all ad-hoc duties as required or assigned.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Completion of degree or diploma in SEO, Marketing, Communications, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, and/or another related field
- Knowledge of SEO, social media recruitment strategies and best practices
- Familiarity with emerging trends on primary social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
- Minimum 3 years social media recruitment experience
- Excellent networking abilities
- Strong working knowledge with managing recruitment initiatives
- Knowledge of Transportation/manufacturing industry is an asset
- Bilingual (French) an asset
