Summary
We are seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Canada. As a Groundskeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and safety of our outdoor spaces, ensuring a pleasant environment for our guests and staff.
Responsibilities
- Maintain lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas using hand tools and power tools.
- Implement landscape maintenance activities including planting, trimming, and watering.
- Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and grass.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on outdoor equipment.
- Use horticultural techniques to promote healthy plant growth.
- Ensure safety standards are followed during all landscaping activities.
- Assist with seasonal clean-up and outdoor beautification projects.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of horticulture practices and landscape maintenance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience working in hospitality or hotel environments.
