Duties
- Assist physiotherapists with patient preparation, including setting up equipment and ensuring comfort during therapy sessions
- Support patients with mobility exercises and activities under supervision, promoting safe and effective rehabilitation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use
- Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, reporting any concerns or changes to the physiotherapist promptly
- Manage administrative tasks such as documenting patient information, updating records, and scheduling appointments
- Provide excellent patient care by addressing patient questions, offering encouragement, and ensuring a positive experience
- Support the clinic’s daily operations by stocking supplies and assisting with equipment maintenance
Requirements
- Previous experience an asset
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care
- Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and attentive patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and assist patients confidently
- Must be organized, reliable, and eager to learn new skills in a clinical environment
