D-Com Energy Solutions is looking for experienced and motivated Apprentice Electricians (1st–4th year) and General Labourers / Solar Installers to join our growing solar and electrical team.
These roles are ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy hands-on installation, and want to grow their career in the renewable energy industry.
Apprentice Electrician Responsibilities
- Install, bend, and support different types of conduit.
- Pull wire and perform terminations under supervision.
- Assist journeypersons with solar, commercial, and service projects.
- Read and follow electrical drawings, one-lines, and site layouts.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all company safety procedures.
- Work both in Lethbridge and on out-of-town projects (home every night).
General Labourer / Solar Installer Responsibilities
- Assist with solar panel installation and material handling.
- Load, unload, and organize tools and equipment on site.
- Support crews with mounting systems, racking, and site cleanup.
- Follow directions from foremen and journeypersons.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Requirements
- Registered 1st to 4th Year Electrical Apprentice in Alberta (for apprentice positions).
- Experience with conduit installation is required for electrical apprentice applicants.
- Ability to lift heavy items and work outdoors in varying weather.
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic — punctual, dependable, and team-focused.
- Solar experience is an asset but not mandatory.
