Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Handle food safely, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Assist with plating dishes for service, ensuring timely delivery to customers
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods by providing assistance as needed
- Follow all food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards at all times
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the restaurant or food industry
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment usage
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction when interacting with front-of-house staff or guests
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and food industry best practices
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
