Montessori Preschool Teacher
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic ECE to join our team at South Surrey Location. Please note this is a Part time position! B&D Montessori Learning Academy is a well-established Montessori school serving children aged 30 months to 6 years. We have been proudly operating in Coquitlam and have recently opened a new location in South Surrey.We strive to promote recognition that children have a natural desire that inspires them to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Follow B&D’s philosophy and curriculum to plan, implement and supervise age-appropriate activities.
- Daily set-up and clean-up
- Provide clear & caring supervision to children.
- Ensure the health and safety of the children.
- Work as part of the team, which includes children, their parents, and coworkers.
- Works in conjunction with the Manager and the Administrator to ensure the needs of the classroom are met.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff.
The qualifications (depending on position and classroom)
- Valid ECE /ECEA License to Practice is required (Montessori license is considered an asset)
- Minimum 1 year experience working at Montessori preschool or daycare setting.
- Up to date First Aid Certification and Criminal Record Check are required.
- 3 References letters
- Doctor's note of good health
- 3 references
- Immunization record
- Able to work with minimum supervision and able to implement quality age-appropriate program.
- Must be a team player and have confident leadership skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
