AGLC is seeking to fill an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Investigator (Casino) position. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced investigator and compliance professional who is passionate about identifying risk, analyzing complex information, and contributing to a strong regulatory environment.
As an AML Compliance Investigator (Casino), you will play a key role in supporting AGLC's regulatory oversight of Alberta's casino and gaming operations. This position is focused on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that may impact the integrity, , and regulatory compliance of AML in casino facilities.
In this role, you will conduct complex investigations involving patrons, gaming activities, and operational compliance matters. You will verify patron-related risks, assess compliance with gaming legislation and policies, identify emerging threats to gaming integrity, and collaborate with casino operators, law enforcement agencies, and regulatory stakeholders. Your work will directly support a fair, safe, and accountable gaming environment while maintaining public confidence in Alberta's gaming industry.
The ideal candidate is an experienced investigator with a background in law enforcement, regulatory enforcement, intelligence, or compliance who enjoys conducting hands-on investigations, assessing risk, and working directly with stakeholders to support gaming integrity and public confidence in Alberta's gaming industry.
