Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of commercial or industrial properties. In this role, you will ensure that all facilities are well-maintained, compliant with safety standards, and efficiently managed to maximize property value and tenant satisfaction. Your leadership will drive a team of maintenance professionals, coordinate projects, and implement strategic plans to enhance property performance. Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operation and maintenance of assigned properties, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
- Supervise maintenance teams, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to promote a high-performing workforce.
- Oversee project management activities such as renovations, repairs, and upgrades, ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work orders, asset tracking, and compliance documentation.
- Review schematics and technical manuals related to mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards related to industrial maintenance, electrical systems, low voltage wiring, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for industrial equipment using technical schematics and mechanical knowledge.
- Monitor building systems such as HVAC units, electrical panels (including low voltage systems), and mechanical components for optimal performance.
- Lead emergency response efforts related to electrical failures or HVAC issues while maintaining clear communication with team members and stakeholders.
Experience
- Proven management experience in property or facilities management within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong background in project management with a track record of successfully completing maintenance projects on time and within budget.
- Extensive supervisory experience leading teams responsible for industrial maintenance operations.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience—familiarity with schematics, control systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and low voltage wiring.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms for work order management and asset tracking.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure (including low voltage systems), mechanical equipment, and safety standards applicable to industrial settings.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective coordination across teams and stakeholders.
