Manager, Social Enterprise and Community Programs
Reports To: Director of Programs and Operations
Status: Permanent Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 flexible hours per week; participation in management on-call rotation required.
Salary: $60,000–$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Organization Profile
Inn From the Cold (IFTC) works with people experiencing homelessness in York Region. Through shelter, housing, drop-in, employment and community programs, IFTC partners with people on their journeys out of homelessness.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Programs and Operations, the Manager, Social Enterprise and Community Programs is responsible for the leadership, oversight and strategic development of Inn From the Cold's social enterprise, employment readiness initiatives, and poverty reduction programming.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead recruitment, onboarding, supervision, coaching and performance management of staff and student placements.
· Supervise approximately 40 Inn Team members and support Team Leads in daily operations.
· Participate in the agency management on-call rotation.
· Oversee Inn Team social enterprise operations, customer relationships, marketing and business development.
· Support business development, customer service, marketing, social media, website content, and community outreach efforts.
· Coordinate participation in community events, trade shows, and promotional opportunities.
· Oversee Inn Team cleaning, landscaping and other services delivered to external customers and Inn From the Cold facilities.
· Provide leadership and oversight for Circles York Region and Getting Ahead programming.
· Support employment readiness, job development, and workforce participation initiatives.
· Recruit, train and support volunteers, allies, facilitators and community partners.
· Represent Inn From the Cold at community tables, sector networks, and collaborative initiatives.
· Ensure sound harm reduction, anti-oppressive and person-centred practices.
· Monitor program outcomes and prepare reports for leadership, funders and the Board.
· Participate in strategic planning, budgeting and program evaluation.
Qualifications
· Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of progressive education and experience.
· 3–5 years of experience working with people experiencing homelessness or vulnerable populations.
· Solid business and/or social enterprise background.
· Experience in employment support, workforce development or poverty reduction initiatives.
· Knowledge of Bridges Out of Poverty, Circles, Getting Ahead or similar frameworks is an asset.
· Excellent coaching, team building, conflict resolution and relationship-building skills.
· Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Experience with budgets, reporting and database management.
· Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
· Current Vulnerable Sector Screening, First Aid and CPR certification.
