Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insulated Panels Installer - Skilled Craftsmen to join our construction team. This role involves the installation of insulated panels on commercial and industrial buildings, requiring precision, craftsmanship, and a strong understanding of construction processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in carpentry, construction, or related trades, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that demand technical expertise and attention to detail.
Duties
- Install insulated panels according to project specifications, blueprints, and schematics
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and secure panels efficiently
- Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints for proper installation procedures
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure insulation integrity and weatherproofing
- Perform restoration work, including surface preparation and finishing touches such as painting or sealing
- Assist with related tasks such as framing, carpentry, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in panel installation
- Construction experience with a focus on insulation systems or building envelope components
- Strong carpentry skills including framing, cutting, and fitting panels accurately
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for precise execution of tasks
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing and insulation sealing
- Experience with restoration work or construction painting is a plus
- Familiarity with plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork skills
