Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to lead our nursing department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of patient care in a senior care setting.
Duties
- Supervise wellness staff, including nurses, caregivers, and case managers, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
- Oversee patient care plans with a focus on holistic health approaches, integrating medical terminology and acute care practices.
- Collaborate with medical teams to coordinate services such as nursing, hospice care, and senior care initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies related to patient safety and wellness.
- Provide training and ongoing education for staff.
Skills
- Experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or hospital environments with a focus on senior care.
- Supervising experience managing healthcare teams or wellness staff.
- Strong background in patient care with knowledge of medical terminology and acute care procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills
- Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with medical professionals, residents, families, and staff.
- Knowledge of case management principles to coordinate comprehensive resident services.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations related to senior care facilities.
Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
