Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in travel packages sales, with the ability to provide exceptional travel experiences tailored to our clients' needs. As a Travel Consultant, you will utilize your expertise in the travel market to create personalized itineraries, negotiate with vendors, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the travel planning process.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences and requirements.
- Research and recommend destinations, accommodations, and activities that align with client interests.
- Create detailed travel itineraries that include transportation, lodging, and activities.
- Negotiate rates and terms with suppliers and vendors to secure the best deals for clients.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients through effective account management.
- Stay updated on travel trends, regulations, and market changes to provide informed advice.
- Utilize technology tools for booking, managing reservations, and tracking client interactions.
Experience
- Proven experience in customer service or sales roles; experience in the travel industry is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms from vendors.
- Familiarity with technology sales or technical sales is advantageous.
- Experience in account management to foster long-term client relationships.
- Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required; additional language skills are a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
