Responsibilities:
- I greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- I dial in espresso beans, adjusting grinds and volume to achieve desired coffee taste
- I steam milk to 60C without the use of a thermometer, with varying levels of foam to suit drink ordered, be able to pour heart, tulip and rosetta as the minimum for latte art
- I process payments accurately on the POS system
- I provide information about the baked goods and beverage programme.
- I handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- I assist with food preparation and handling in the bakery
- I ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- I maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
- I handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- I maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Requirements:
- I have previous experience in customer service, specifically in the specialty coffee industry
- I know basic food handling and safety practices
- I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- I possess strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- I handle transactions with accuracy
- I have basic math skills for calculating bills, discounts, and change
- I thrive working in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail
