G-Force Security is looking for a reliable and professional Security Guard to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors by monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to security concerns. Key responsibilities include patrolling assigned areas, deterring theft and vandalism, and enforcing site safety procedures. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff.
- Assist visitors by responding to inquiries and directing them to the appropriate locations or personnel.
- Enforce site policies, regulations, and applicable legislation, including the Trespass to Property Act, to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Monitor and control access to facilities, ensuring only authorized individuals enter designated areas.
- Conduct routine patrols of both interior and exterior premises to identify and address potential security concerns.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, alarms, and suspicious activities.
- Investigate security-related incidents and prepare detailed reports as required.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary and escalate issues appropriately.
- Maintain accurate records, daily activity logs, incident reports, and other security documentation.
- Manage the issuance, tracking, and return of site equipment and security-related assets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a related security role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security procedures, loss prevention strategies, and site safety protocols.
- Experience monitoring and operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
- Ability to remain composed, make sound decisions, and respond effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations.
- Dependable, professional, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- High school diploma, or equivalent qualification required.
