Job Overview
King Christian School is seeking a passionate and faith-filled educator to join our team as a Part-Time Primary Prep Coverage Teacher beginning September, 2026. This role will primarily provide music instruction to students in the primary grades, along with some additional classroom prep coverage responsibilities.
This is a part-time position consisting of 2 partial days per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging and developmentally appropriate music instruction for primary students
- Lead singing activities and support school musical performances and worship opportunities
- Direct or assist with student choirs as needed
- Foster a Christ-centered classroom atmosphere that reflects the mission and values of the school
- Work collaboratively with staff, administration, and families
Qualifications
- Ontario teaching qualifications and certification in good standing
- Experience teaching vocal music is preferred
- Experience leading choirs or musical ensembles is considered an asset
- Commitment to Christian education and the integration of faith into learning
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- CSTC (Christian School Teacher Certificate) is considered an asset

Pay: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
