Receptionist / Cashier (FT-PT)
Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist / Cashier to join our team. This role is vital in providing excellent customer service, managing front desk operations, and supporting administrative functions. Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Handle cashier duties including processing payments accurately using QuickBooks or other POS systems
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, maintaining up-to-date records
- Maintain organized filing systems both digitally (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office) and physically
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing correspondence
- Ensure the front desk area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
- Provide exceptional customer support through attentive phone etiquette and professional communication
- Assist with clerical duties such as proofreading documents, managing paperwork, and supporting office operations
- Support specific roles such as dental receptionist or medical office support if applicable
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or customer service roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Strong computer skills including data entry, filing, and basic troubleshooting
- Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong typing skills and proofreading abilities to ensure error-free documents
- Previous experience in medical or dental offices is advantageous but not required
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer support skills
